‘Fighting Fund’ Appeal Launched by the Parish Council
The Parish Council are asking for donations to provide expert input/legal representation to the Neighbourhood Plan and also to assist with the evidence base to provide a defence against the large housing numbers proposed by Derbyshire Dales District Council.

A model letter is available from this link *, which you can adapt to whatever you think appropriate for you to raise your concerns to Derbyshire Dales District Council in relation to the Local Plan and the impact it will have on Brailsford & Ednaston.

As you will see from the notes of the March meeting there is still a lot to do and time is now limited for impact to be made on the development of the District Council's Local Plan. The formal consultation period opens on 7 April and it is hoped that a neighbourhood plan can be published to coincide with this period. To deliver this more help is required and In particular with the following:
Managing the vital communications campaign including active social media and delivering press comment
Compiling an evidence base on key planning considerations and advising on an objection strategy
Completing the Neighbourhood Plan statements
Funds and Fund raising.
